For one, the band Dio is under rated, but that topic has been discussed to death.

Badlands with Ray Gillan and Jake E Lee had great potential - unfortunately, events overtook things there.

A great English band still on the circuit called UFO - almost made it big late 70's but never hit the same heights as Purple/Sabbath or more recently Maiden. Saw UFO in 07 and they are a class act with Vinnie Moore on guitar.

Another good English band called Thunder - i say good as i dont think the band is great but the lead singer Danny Bowes IS. A fantastic showman and singer - in my opinion, could have made it right to the top in the right band.

Danny Bowes is a legend.
Would have loved to hear him sing in Rainbow after Ronnie James Dio of course....if this happened...I think Rainbow would still be around today. Exclamation
