Because of "The rime of the ancient mariner"-14 minutes and not one minute too long!!!!!
Dvd´s:My choise would be Live after Death but i have only the video.So I go with Death on the road-great music,but I don´t like the cutting!

I like all Iron Maiden albums with Bruce Dickinson and Blaze Bayley. But I can pick out several I like better.
POWERSLAVE (1984)
SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON (1988)
THE X FACTOR (1995)
BRAVE NEW WORLD (2000)

I think these albums make the best imagination abuot the group.

But I love the first one, Somewhere In Time and the X Factor aswell.......they're all great Twisted Evil

This is my top favourite band along with Dio.
I mostly prefer Iron Maiden with Bruce Dickinson however I like Blaze Bayley much more in his solo career.
My fave albums of IM are:
Powerslave - a great true heavy metal album,
Brave New World - the first album of them I heard.

Man this is way hard to choose.. i gotta say though The Number is really hard to beat because there are sooo many killer riffs in there with such power in every tune... i'll go with the The Number.... Wink

Maiden came out just a tiny bit too late for me, when I was out of my metal phase and listening to really trippy shit from Magma to King Crimson and punk rock.
I've tried many times to listen to them since but they've just never connected with me. I appreciate their hard work ethic but they'll just never be my band.
