Can't do that in Norway, I'm afraid. 18 is 18.
Sentrum Scene however, have a gallery where, in some cases, people under 18 is allowed, but that doesn't seem to be possible at the Dio-gig.
It's a pity, as I have a 10 year old som who would love to go with me to that concert! |

Anybody knows if there is an opening act at the Oslo-gig???
Will see KISS on saturday 31st, thought we go up to Oslo the day before and see DIO play too, but since doors open 20.00, DIO won't be on until 22.00 if there is an opening act playing, if there is no opening act - he might play at 21.00 already. Will we make it in time?
Anybody heard anything??

OK... so there might be an opening act. I'll try to contact the venue and see if they have any info.
I know that DIO once had no opening act in Gothenburg, but that was 6 years ago...
Anyone knows if these shows usually sell out??? 1800 tickets in Oslo on a friday SHOULD sell, especially since KISS play there the night after. Perhaps I should buy tickets in advance, then pretend to my girlfriend that they had tickets at the door! (she doesn't want me to buy in advance, but at the door...) |

I'd buy in advance....better seats!!!
And a night with DIO should sell out.....if not close to.

OK, but is not Centrum Scene standing only? Are there seats on the balcony?
EDIT** Got an answer from the venue about what's to expect about opening act + starting time for the show:
"Hello,
We don’t know yet if there will be an opening act on this night. It is not decided.
If there is an opening act, they will start playing around 9, and DIO around 10.
It there is no opening act, DIO will start playing around 9.30.
Rockefeller, John DEE and Sentrum Scene"

If the venue has a balcony I would assume there would be seats available in that section.
(For instance the House Of Blues has a balcony and they are always open seats) and being a small venue it most ALWAYS sells out or close to it.

| Actually... I might not make it in time for the Oslo-show, so I think I'll take my car the 280km drive to Malmö on June 2nd instead... We'll see what happens... Really want to see DIO again! |
