All three Rainbow albums were great but Rising was just something else. First of all there's the brilliant cover. My dad said it made him buy the album. Then there's obviously the fact that although it's very short the music is some of the best ever written. RWTW & DYCYE may not be classic but they're very good. It also seems to have great production.

Rising. Great cover, no extremely bad songs. Even Do You Close Your Eyes isn't that bad, it's just.. weak.
But yeah, gotta go with the Rising.

"Blackmore's Rainbow" for me... although I've never met a Rainbow album (or a Dio one, for that matter) that I didn't really like.

Totally agree with these sentiments except I'd shade LLRnR over Rising.
Might also have been an idea to poll the albums on this thread as well....................
