He is so down to earth! What a treat for him to invite us in to his work. |
I've never met him personally, but I must say from everything I have seen of him, he seems to be one of, if not the most down to earth rock stars around.
I remember a few years ago when I saw him at the greek theatre in LA. It was me and my younger brother (his first Dio concert). We were in the pit, right against the rail. During one of the songs he made it over to our side of the stage. I was throwing the devil horns up, and he came over and hit horns with me. Afterward I pointed to my brother who was next to me, and Dio took the time to make sure to hit devil horns with him. This was as he was singing.
He just seems to realize, and cares about the fans. And this in itself makes him special, not to mention that he has the best voice in rock music. |

| Yes, I think that his humility is what I find so captivating about him as well. One of the interviews that I posted concerns religion and his views of same. RJD states that he was brought up catholic. RJD has a hard time believing in a God with all of the suffering that is allowed to occur in this World. This shows me how empathetic he is to the plight of others. I understand this aspect and am at a loss as to how to correct some of the problems in the world. I hate suffering whether human or animal. I will converse about religion a bit more in depth right now in metaphyiscal musings. Something that really bothers me. |

Oh sheesh! This is my favorite interview of Ronnie! He is so CUTE there, and Hey Angel is one of my favorite songs of his. Thanks.

"Hey Angel" is quite cool, is it just a quote from a song or is it a song title too?
RJD has given good interviews, the best is his talk about America, makes the most sense... or the VC slamming haha...

Thursday night I had fallen asleep on the season finale of CSI. To my delight, a youtuber had posted the entire episode the next morning and I was able to enjoy. I especially love the trips down memory lane on youtube with the old tv shows and commercials from my childhood. |
