Rainbow Eyes
This is Your Life
Last In Line
Lady Evil
Country Girl |

Thanx for the response GEORDIE. Im trying to interpret the lyrics for some of the songs. Any ideas on some of the tunes you mention?
Maybe someone else has advice on interpreting Dio songs, I have ideas of my one but some facts on the matter would be nice.
What did Ronny mean whit this and that lyric.
I`l keep on scaning the web for answers but I guess a lot of people in this forum know a thing or two about this.
PS My daughter wishes u all a Happy Ester

Well, my understanding of Rainbow Eyes is Ronnie singing about being lost with his one true love....maybe you could use that and have it be representing how you'd be lost without your daughter and how much her being in your life means to you?
I don't know....that's just me
the other ones wouldn't work lol. I just kinda threw all the songs i could think of that Ronnie had done about women on the list. Rainbow Eyes is such a beautiful ballad....i think that would be perfect..
Happy Easter to you and your family as well! |

The lady's Starstruck she's nothing but bad luck was
about a groupie who used to stalk Ritchie Blackmore.
Carly Simon wrote a song called "You're So Vain" and
she said later it was written about Warren Beatty. _________________ Voodoo |

There's an old Elf song called "When She Smiles." Not metal, but sweet for a daughter nonetheless...
And as far as interpreting any of Ronnie's lyrics, it's pretty wide open in a lot of cases.
Let me know what you decide on! |

We have decided.
The song will be: Last In Line
First of all it`s a great song and our daughter loves that song. (Well she`s 6 month old so I kind of decides what she likes )
When it came to the interpretation of the lyrics I decided that a song is what u make of it. Everyone has there own interpretation and feelings towards a song. A lot of songs has a special place in my life but
Last In Line kind of represent heavy metal fans for me.
"We're a laugh without a tear
The hope without the fear
We are coming - home"
That`s what metal is all about.
When I listen to the regular radiostation with rap and crap I feel like I`m coming home when they play a good metal song.
When our daughter listen to a Dio song she has a reaction.
As her parents:
We'll know for the first time
If we're evil or divine
We're the last in line
Our gift to ENGLA (our daughter) is this song with hope of Metal as her guide in life.
Right or wrong I don`t know but for me this is right. _________________ Heavy Metal Rules The World |
