Dio is a young 64, who could easily pass for 57. Wink

In an intensely age-conscious and youth-oriented industry, it might be better to... well, let people think the latter.

he deffinately graduated from High School in 1960 (It's listed in Cortland (NY) High School wall of fame.) So that would probably mean about 1942

i dont know how old dio is, but here's the discography years im sure some of you have seen it before. like everything else w/ this, its not 100% either, but this website has been here for more than 10 yrs. according to the history here, the vegas kings was in 1957 and ronnie and the rumblers was in 1958-ish, making him 9-11 yrs old when he was in those two bands according to some. hes closer to the '42 range Twisted Evil

In human years, he turned 65 this year. In wizard years, he's 843.

Based on your calculations, that would make me about 454 in wizard years. Laughing (Well, actually 453.6...I rounded up!) And I don't think that RJD looks a day over 700, and people put me anywhere between 300 and 325. Laughing Laughing

Seriously though....our society is way too obsessed with youth. It fades so quickly.

for what it's worth (nothing imo), there is a Dio official release that states a specific date for the birth of Ronald James Padavona.

This is the booklet of the Japanese limited edition "colours" 4CD, which includes the first three albums plus a "Live tracks" CD (that has intermission plus all the live B sides). I have it here on my desk!

I don't bother stating the date because as I said, these booklets are worth nothing.
