I just turned down a free ticket for Sunday's gig in Edinburgh I have seen them before years ago...had another commitment so I could not make it. |

I had a chance to open for them on there early 90s reunion, but it was a stretch to get from where we were booked the night before to their gig the next day. So we turned it down. However, in february of 92 I blew out my knee on stage in Detroit, and was given a crutch to finish the show. I was told later that the crutch belonged to the singer of Nazareth when he broke his leg doing a show in Detroit years earlier. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

Nazareth were very popular here. They even
wrote a song about the city who bought the
most of their albums back in the 70's. When I
saw them in '81 the singer had a rolled up
sock down his pants which the guitarist had
to expose during a very funny moment in the
concert. _________________ Voodoo |

Check out their official myspace.com - They put 6 songs from the NEWZ album which is slated for the release at the end of March. Solid stuff I must say LIAR has a great riff! And Dan's vocals are what they should be. Some throats never change |
