Hi,
Just curious if anyone here has heard any of Dio's early songs with the Prophets? I've seen some songs listed and was wondering how the group sounded (any specific great songs?) and if there is a CD collection of their songs? _________________ Chris |

google The Early Years
this is not a bootleg, and all this material is not available anywhere. The vinyl shows up in ebay once and a while.
Dio said once (not in these exact words) that he wished sombody got all those records together - and made a nice cozy warm fire with them.
complete discography (no music!) in www.dio.net |

There are also some earlier staff, The Vegas Kings/Ronnie and the Rumblers, Ronnie and the Redcaps, Ronnie Dio and the Prophets
Good staff man, but you know 60s music, something between blues and early rock music i guess
I have 4 songs from the Ronnie and the Redcaps, 16 with Ronnie and the Prophets and the Live at Domino's album.
I could find them at vinyl or something but i did found them, after long search in internet. I guess in such cases we are "allowed" to download them, impossible to find them even in ebay that has everything _________________ Video games are bad for you? That what they said about Rock 'n' Roll... |

as I said, google Dio "The Early Years" - everything is there, even Dio and the Elves singing War Pigs back in 1972 or whatever. |

I got all these tracks from a link I found on the internet - but don't know if I am allowed to name it? A chap was selling a CD of all this on Ebay for about £14 but I was able to download them all for free......including a wicked Dio budwiser ad soundtrack!!! _________________ Stand up and Shout!!!!! |

these areactually not original releases, they are counterfeits/bootlegs from the 90s or so! Limited edition though. They show up occasionally, but normally cheaper than the 1960s original releases! |
